Lawman’s Black Belt Academy partners with law enforcement agencies and training organizations to host courses at their facilities. Hosting a course allows agencies to provide quality defensive tactics training to their personnel while minimizing travel costs and increasing access to training.

Officer Skills Courses are designed for individual officers who want to improve their ability to safely and effectively control resistant subjects. This course focuses on practical techniques that officers can apply immediately in real world encounters.
Training emphasizes positional control, safe transitions, and the ability to manage resistance while using the minimum level of force necessary. Officers will learn a streamlined and systematic approach to controlling subjects both standing and on the ground, including managing subjects who attempt to escape, resist, or transition positions.
The Officer Skills Course is suitable for officers of all experience levels.
