Consulting Services
Lawman’s Black Belt Academy also offers consulting services for agencies seeking to strengthen or modernize their defensive tactics programs.
Consulting services may include:
- Defensive tactics program evaluation
- Curriculum development and restructuring
- Instructor mentorship and development
- Scenario-based training design
- Integration of grappling-based control tactics into existing programs
These services are designed to help agencies develop training programs that are effective, sustainable, and aligned with modern use of force standards.
The academy recognizes two primary competitors within this training space:
- Gracie University, with its well-established Gracie Survival Tactics (GST) program.
- Effective Fitness Combatives (EFC), another prominent training provider with a strong law enforcement following.
In the future, the academy intends to expand into private contract courses, where agencies directly hire Lawman’s Black Belt Academy to provide customized on-site training for their personnel. This model will allow agencies to integrate our curriculum into their defensive tactics and in-service training programs while reducing travel costs and maximizing training hours.
